City, like the supporters who has seen him play, have been impressed and he has been training with the Sky Blues with a view to a possible move.

Jason Farndon confirmed to Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph; “He’s still in the building and training full time.

“I think that will be a decision that will be made as soon as we know where we’re going to be next season.

“It’s difficult to pin down and sign players at the minute just because where we are with the first team and where we are going, whether we’re in the play-offs or not.

"There’s a lot happening at the training ground, and rightly so because all the thoughts are for each game that comes.

“Yes, the club are keen on him, definitely. “You can only play two development games when on trial and he came off injured against Burnley so he’s played one and a half, but he’s a player that we like,”
