Super Sam Gets A Draw For City

Coventry City drew 2-2 with Southend United at the Ricoh Arena this evening. 

The Sky Blues were ahead in the 33rd minute when Reda Johnson headed in but the lead lasted for less than two minutes when Noel Hunt headed home.

In the 40th minute, Southend took the lead when David Mooney scored from a penalty that Lee Burge got a hand to. 

In the 71st minute, Sam Ricketts scored following a corner to give City, who had a 53rd minute penalty by Jim O'Brien saved, a point in front of a crowd of 12,967.
