The Coventry City supporters at Huish Park fumed as the Sky Blues went down to a 2-0 defeat at Yeovil Town.

Mark Robins, who had to bring in Adi Viveash to cover for Steve Taylor who suffered a bleed on the brain last week,  had to change his side due to an injury to Rod McDonald and also dropped Peter Vincenti and Stuart Beavon.

City got straight into Yeovil from the start with a Jodi Jones shot leading to a corner and Duckens Nazon, in for Stuart Beavon, getting in a cross which was cleared.

Another corner followed in the fourth minute and was again hacked away by a Glovers side which included former City loanee James Bailey on  a very warm afternoon.

After Doyle was poloaxed, Stokes played a great ball to McNulty who smashed the ball ball straight into the roof of the terrace where some of the home fans were.

A 20th minute penalty shout was waved away by the referee who had only booked Olomola for his assault on Doyle.

McNulty played a one two in the 24th minute but screwed his shot wide and it proved costly as Liam O'Brien allowed Rhys Browne to round him and stroke the ball into the empty net for the first goal of the afternoon.

The City support, many of whom had journeyed for four or more hours down to this West Country enclave, were fuming and they watched Tony Andreu win a corner which came to nothing.

Another corner for City was won by Nazon in the 34th minute and led to another.

Yeovil who have let in eighteen goals in three league games, won a 40th minute corner due to a good clearance from Jordan Willis and Liam Kelly volleyed well wide.

Three minutes into the second half and Nazon volleyed wide. Yeovil went up the other end and won a corner but thankfully that went well wide and City had a chance to regroup.

The mood amongst the City support, which was over a thousand strong, was getting angrier but was slightly placated when Andreu curled a 56th minute free kick onto Krysiak's left hand post and won a corner.

A massive chorus of the Sky Blue Song rang out before Robins sent on Stuart Beavon but it was his strike partner Marc McNulty curled wide and had a 68th minute header brilliantly saved.

Nazon won a corner in the 71st minute which again ended up in the arms of the goalkeeper on a day where too many City players were happy playing hit and hope balls.

Many City supporters were expecting a second goal for The Glovers and it came when Olomola got down the right and drove past O'Brien in the 75th minute.

"This is Embarrassing" sang some of the City support, whilst others booed on the final whistle and today this was justified as Coventry City were again nowhere near even slightly good enough.
