Straight away Leicester scored when the shambolic Coventry defence gave Westwood no chance to stop the King shot after 3 mins.

The game was dominated by the home team and it was not surprising when the home team took a 2-0 lead with a King goal that did not cross the line on 19 mins.

The rest of the first half was a story of Coventry giving the ball to Leicester every minute.

The second half started and Coventry began to fire on all cylinders and it was expected when McPake volleyed in the goal that put the game back on.

Coventry and Leicester both pressed with Westwood producing brilliant saves but it was Coventry who got the goal with Deegan after 86 mins.

Leicester attempted to get the winner late but they could not squeeze the ball past Westwood. When the ref blew the whistle, celebrations started in the away corner.
