COVENTRY CITY U18'S 3-1 MK DONS BY KEV MONKS
Coventry City U18's side turned in a good performance at The Alan Higgs Centre to beat Milton Keynes Dons 3-1.

Brian Borrows team were ahead after only 64 seconds when Anthony Barry raced on to a through ball and cooly finished with a low drive.

The vistors levelled seven minutes later thanks to Tim Drake powerfully heading home a corner.

With Rikki Bains pushing City forward, the Sky Blues restored their lead in the 33rd minute. Liam Davis broke down the left wing before being sent crashing by Joe Howe. Davis got to his feet and hammered home the resulting penalty.

Milton Keynes had Bobby Winkelman stretchered off with a knee injury five minutes into the second half and their misery was completed in the 55th minute when Vijay Sidhu kept his cool to slot home past the advancing Rob Webb.

City were in complete control against a Dons side whose best effort in the second half was superbly pushed round the post for a corner.
