Warwickshire resume their LV County Championship game against Durham at Chester Le Street tomorrow needing another 243 runs to take their third win of the campaign.
Warwickshire spinner Imran Tahir was the in form bowler, taking 6-69 to give the Bears hope.
Durham finished their second innings on 289 all out of 78.1 overs having scored 288 all out in 83.4 overs in their first innings. Warwickshire replied with 224 all out in their first innings and ended the penultimate day on 111 for 3 off 38 overs, leaving them to find another 243 from the remaining 7 wickets on the final day.
To put a bit of perspective on the score, no team has yet scored over 300 runs at Chester Le Street in the last innings to win. Warwickshire can win the game but it will be close.
