Yeovil Town are interested in taking Coventry City defender Jordan Clarke on a longer basis
Clarke is currently on loan at Huish Park and seemingly surplus to requirements by Steven Pressley but Gary Johnson has been impressed with the Coventry kid and told the Western Gazette: “We will be speaking to Coventry and we have done regularly. I speak to Stephen Pressley quite a lot. He’s got one of our players (defender Aaron Martin) so we’re always talking about how each other’s player has done for us.
“At the right time we will talk. You can’t stop speculation, you can’t stop agents doing their job and their work, but he seems to be enjoying himself here at the moment and hopefully we can keep him for a little bit longer.”
