Coventry City are in North Wales tonight in the latest of their pre-seaon friendly games.

There are two former Sky Blues in Andy Morrell's Wrexham side, Stephen Wright and Rob Ogleby both start the game.

Coventry City team: Murphy Clarke, Kilbane, Malaga, Edjenguele, Brown, Thomas, McSheffrey, Fleck, Baker, Ball.

Subs: Dunn, Deegan Hussey, Roberts, McDonald, Cazarine.

Coventry City are wearing their away kit for this game and take the kick off to start the game.

There is just the one stand open for this game.

Wrexham have the best of the opening stages of the game winning two early corners.

Substitution, 57. McSheffrey is replaced by Roberts.

 

Wrexham continue to have the best of the play, but Malaga is winning all of the headers for City.

 In the 14th minute Murphy gets down well to smother a Neil Ashton shot.

Ball give the Wrexham 'keeper some catching practise with a shot at the other end.

16 minutes. McSheffrey has a weak shot from 20 yards out which goes straight into the 'keeper's arms.

18 minutes. Jordan Clarke wins a corner for City, but then has to hurry back to his end to clear a Wrexham attack.

21 minutes. Joe Murphy pushes an Ogleby shot around th epost for a Wrexham corner.

 GOAL: In the 25th minute, Rob Ogleby beats the offside trap to put the hosts ahead. The City players had thought it was offside after the assistant referee raised his flag.

GOAL: Neil Ashton converts a penalty after Clarke fouled Hunt.

Wrexham 2  Coventry City 0.

35 minutes. Wrexham 'keeper fumbles a Ball shot but concedes a corner. Malaga heads the ball over the bar. 

37. Another City corner is easily dealt with by the Wrexham defence.

38. Tame shot from Baker following good work from Thomas.

42. Brett Ormerod  has a shot and hits the City post.

There are plenty of grumblings among the 30 or so City supporters here. 

46. Substitution. McDonald comes on to replace Ball.

Former Coventry City player Stephen Wright, who was scheduled to start the game, was replaced before kick off by Walker.

GOAL: 55 minutes, Keats scores with ease to make it 3-0 to Wrexham.

Substitution. 57, McSheffrey is replaced by Roberts.

Substitution. 61, Edjenguele is replaced by Hussey.

Substitution. 63, Fleck is off and Cazarine is on.

GOAL: 71. It's now 4-0 to Wrexham through a powerful finish from Hunt.

The attendance is given as 907.

 Goal: Coventry pull a goal back through Cazarine from a Hussey cross.
