Work will start on the pitch at the Ricoh Arena later this week.
The stadium will host the Coventry Telegraph Cup Final on Wednesday night and the Coventry Charity Football Cup Final on Thursday evening (7.30pm kick off) and then work will start on ripping up the pitch and laying a new reinforced, hybrid pitch in order to be ready for the 2015/16 season
The laying of the new pitch means that Coventry City will not be able to play home pre-season games at the Ricoh Arena.
