Wolves Miss Chance To Go Top

Wolverhampton Wanderers missed a chance to go top of the League One table after drawing 2-2 at Carlisle United.

Wolves led at Brunton Park through an eighth minute Bakary Sako goal but allowed Carlisle to equalise through Prince Buaben on the half-hour mark.

Leigh Griffiths headed Wolves back in front in the 42nd minute, only for the Cumbrians to level once more through a 54th minute Liam Noble penalty.

Wolves remain two points behind leaders Leyton Orient.

Bristol City moved out of the relegation zone with a 2-0 win over Crawley Town. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas put the Robins ahead in the  80th minute and seven minutes later, Emmanurel-Thomas turned provider to supply  Joe Bryan for a second goal.
