Wisey Gets The Swindon Job

Dennis Wise is the new boss of Swindon Town. Released by Micky Adams, Wisey who became a cult figure during his short spell at The Ricoh, Wise has brought in former Chelsea mate Gus Poyet as his assistant.

Swindon´s board issued a statement saying:"The board felt the opportunity to appoint someone of the calibre of Dennis Wise was too great.

Meanwhile, John Aloisi is expected to sign for Portsmouth. The Australian striker started with Pompey before he moved to Highfield Road. He moved to Osasuna and played this season for Alaves who were relegated from the Spanish top flight.
