Former Coventry City midfielder Dennis Wise should be ok if Kevin Keegan does walk away from Newcastle United.

The Geordies have denied that Keegan has been sacked but it is understood that Keegan may have resigned after discovering that the Newcastle board were allegedly trying to sell Michael Owen and Joey Barton behind his back on the back of James Milner, who had a stormer of a game at the Ricoh Arena last Tuesday, who went to Aston Villa.

Wise is the Director of Football at Newcastle United and it is believed that his job is safe if Keegan were to leave with Guy Poyet, who worked with Wise at Leeds United being brought in as manager.

Newcastle also employ Richard Money as Academy Boss and former City player/Academy Scout Ray Gooding but both should be ok under any new managerial change.
