Coventry City's 1-0 win over Leyton Orient has failed to lift them out of the relegation zone in the League One table.

City now have 14 points from 15 games, the same amount of points as Shrewsbury Town who are one place above City but have a better goal difference.

The Sky Blues are four points clear of third from bottom Scunthorpe who were beaten 3-0 at home by MK Dons.

Second from bottom Bury drew 1-1 with Walsall whilst bottom side Hartlepool drew 2-2 at Brentford.

Tranmere stay top after a 1-1 draw with Preston at Prenton Park and Crawley have gone second after they drew 1-1 with Oldham and Swindon won 4-0 at Stevenage who have dropped to third.

Fifth placed Doncaster won 2-0 at sixth placed Notts County and elsewhere, Bournemouth won 4-2 at Carlisle,
