Victory for Coventry City at Bradford City in tomorrow's television game (3.30pm kick off) could see them move up to eighth in the League One table, following the results on Saturday afternoon.

The League One table is now headed by Wolves who won 1-0 at bottom side Notts County and they over-take Leyton Orient who lose their first home league game of the season with a 1-0 defeat to fifth placed Preston North End.

Peterborough who did not play are third, whilst Brentford moved up to fourth with a 5-0 demolition of Crewe and Swindon moved into sixth with a 2-1 win at Colchester.

Rotherham United who won 3-0 at Stevenage are seventh, with Bradford City dropping down to eighth. A 3-1 home win over Shrewsbury sent Micky Adams' Port Vale side ninth and rounding out the top ten are MK Dons whose game at Oldham was postponed.

Sheffield United remain deep in trouble in 23rd place with a 2-1 home defeat to Gillingham for whom former Coventry City forward Cody McDonald scored.

Tranmere Rovers stay in the bottom four despite a 1-1 home draw with Bristol City.

In the other game, Crawley earned a 1-1 draw from their trek to Carlisle United.
