Wilson On Target For Kettering

Callum Wilson who is on loan at Kettering Town from Coventry City was on target for the Poppies tonight.

Wilson scored for Marcus Law's team to help them to a 4-3 victory over Histon at Rockingham Road after the visitors had taken a 3-1 lead.

Shaun Jeffers was an unused substitute as Cambridge United drew 0-0 with Luton Town.

Locally, Nuneaton Town were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Gloucester City.

Leamington went down to a 4-3 defeat at Stourbridge. A crowd of 443 saw The Brakes go two goals down before goals from Blyth, Barnfield and Rowe put them in front with sixteen minutes left. Dovey made it 3-3 in the 83rd minute but in the sixth minute of stoppage time, former Leamington striker Billingham hit the winner for The Glassboys.

Bedworth United lost 1-0 at home to Barton Rovers. Bull scored the only goal of the game in the 15th minute.

Rugby Town came back to draw 2-2 at home to Leighton Town. The visitors lead 2-0 before VS snatched a point thanks to goals from Holburn and Steane.

Stratford Town are through to the Polymac Midland Alliance Cup Final at Walsall FC after a 3-2 home win in the second leg of the semi-final against last years beaten finalists Westfields. Mykel Beckley scored twice with Dave Pearson also on target.

In the Les James Memorial Cup, Coventry Copsewood were held 1-1 by Castle Vale. Ross Wimbush put the Allard Way based side ahead with a 25th minute but O'Callaghan levelled with an 80th minute penalty.

Massey Ferguson lost 6-0 at Heather St John whilst in the Coventry Telegraph Cup, it took penalties for Stockingford to beat Kenilworth Town after the match finished 0-0. Stockingford won 4-3 on spot kicks.
