Coventry City striker Callum Wilson has said that he is happy for the 908 who turned up to support the team in their 5-4 win over Bristol City on Sunday.

Speaking about having to play matches at Sixfields Stadium, Wilson told the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter: “This is our home for now and the lads are going into the game just thinking about getting the result and not thinking about the performance inside this stadium.

“We're just looking to keep picking up points and working our way up the table.

“We'd like to be playing in front of more people but I'm just happy for those that did come and support us.

“All the players appreciate the support and they got to see a nine-goal thriller so I'm sure they'll be happy to have come this far to see us play.

“I understand where the fans are coming from, they shouldn't have to travel out of the city to watch their team but the situation is that it's got to happen for now so we can get back on our feet and hopefully the fans will be watching us soon in a stadium we can call home.”
