Nuneaton Town manager Kevin Wilson has said that he is delighted to be playing Coventry City tomorrow.

Wilson told the Nuneaton Town club website: "The friendlies give an opportunity for the fans to see the new players, and for the new players to play in front of the fans at Liberty Way.

"I hope the fans will be putting last season behind them and looking forward to what the new season holds and are as excited as I am about the calibre of player we have brought in over the summer.

"I am delighted Coventry City and Tony Mowbray are coming down on Saturday, and the game will give my players a chance to all get at least 45 minutes on the pitch in front of the fans.

"We have had a couple of 11 v 11 games already and we have taken from them exactly what we wanted. The friendlies are all about looking at fitness and putting things on to the pitch that we have been working on in training.

"All of the things we are doing in training, and in the friendlies are all building towards August 8.
