Willis:We Need To Get Out Of This Situation

Coventry City Captain Jordan Willis has said that the Sky Blues need to get out of the situation of being bottom of the league one table.

Many City supporters feel that relegation to League 2 and then a possible drop into non-league football could be the deathknell of the club and Willis has stressed how important it is that City get a decent run of results.

Willis told Billie Marshall: “It’s a situation we need to get out of and it’s a position that needs to change quickly. All the players keep a track of the table and we know it is something we need to put right and get some points on the board.

“We need a decent run of results, it’s the only way we’re going to get out of this. We are on the training pitch every day and each of us know what we have to do, so we need to put that into place.

“It’s frustrating, any team you play in you don’t want to be at the bottom of the league. Being from Coventry, with everyone that knows me understands I am playing for them as well.”
