Williams on proposed City Move

Talking to BBC Berkshire, Reading defender Adie Williams feels there is a long way to go before any move to Coventry is completed. The 33 year old said: "The fact is I've spoken to Peter Reid, I've done a part (sort of) medical, quite relaxed nothing's been signed or sealed...it's a long road, personal terms, this that and the other, it may happen it may not, I'm not sitting on the fence...I have spoken to them, yes". It's not a done deal by any stretch of the imagination? "It's not done, no not at all, not, like Peter Reid said, until you've put your signature on the contract. "It's not a done deal, but obviously interested, they've been very honest and given me a good offer so on-going really."
Williams refuse to rule out more games for Reading saying: "As we stand now, no. Like I say, until you've signed a contract it means nothing...Bristol City were first class for me, gave me a very good offer, and everyone was thinking that's me now, down the motorway as a Bristol City player!
"It can take time, like Peter Reid and the gaffer Steve Coppell - he's been first class with me, we've spoken and I've got no problem with him the fact of the matter is they're not offering myself a contract and we all know that. " I'm not going to be too controversial and say this and that, it's not my place, I'm not that sort of a fella, and I've got great respect for Steve Coppell and Peter Reid and we've dealt with it amicably. " Coventry's offer is a good offer...it's not a money issue...whoever I sign for I don't think the wages will be a problem."
