The defender nicknamed "The Count" made 41 appearances for the Sky Blues and scored two goals after signing for the Club in November 2004.
The deal was Wise's second of the day as he signed Curtis Weston from Millwall, a player the former City midfielder had at The New Den.
Wise has also signed Andy Monkhouse, Jamie Vincent and Folawiyo Onibuje.
