There are reports that Coventry City could be offering a deal to Brendan Mason.
The left back is currently on trial with the Sky Blues at Ryton and is a free agent after his contract with Watford expired.
Mason was given a professional contract two seasons ago and made his debut in a 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur and started in a cup tie against Burton Albion.
He was on loan for some of last season at Dundee United.
