Wilder Still The Bookies Favourite

Despite Coventry City and Oxford United both denying the story, the bookies continue to have Oxford United boss Chris Wilder as favourite for the vacant manager's job at Coventry City FC.

Wilder is being quoted as 6/5 favourite with Dennis Wise at 3/1 and Richard Shaw/Lee Carsley at 8/1.

New faces in the betting are former City defender Steve Staunton after he watched some of City's U21 game against Nottingham Forest last Monday and former Wolves boss Terry Connor. Both are 10/1 shots.

Nigel Worthington is a 16/1 shot whilst Cov kid and City fan Graham Alexander who is now a coach a 20/1 shot.

Tim Fisher had said that a new manager would be in for the Stevenage game but so far there has been no appointment.
