Who's in and who's out for Saturday's game against Bournemouth

Since Robins arrived at Coventry, which was after the transfer window had closed, he has brought in five loan signings, one of whom is Manchester United’s Reece Brown. Brown missed Tuesday’s draw with MK Dons as he was suffering from a bout of flu, but he has now recovered and for selection.

William Edjenguele, who had to be replaced after suffering an injury on Tuesday in the 1-1 draw with the MK Dons, will have a fitness test later today to see if he has recovered to take some part in the home game against Bournemouth tomorrow.

Striker Cody McDonald may miss out again as he continues to recover from injury. He jarred his knee scoring the winning goal at Oldham last Saturday to secure City’s first win of the season and subsequently missed the mid-week draw.

If Edjenguele misses out, Nathan Cameron is ready to seize his chance to re-establish his place in the side after returning from a long term knee injury which required surgery. Cameron replaced Edjenguele on Tuesday and did enough to impress Robins.

Robins said to the CT: “Nathan did really well when he went on. He’s working hard and I’ll keep assessing those positions. We have got some injuries and a little bit of illness but hopefully they will be cleared up by tomorrow.

"The lads who missed the other night, Jordan Clarke and Reece, are back in training and William is a lot better than he was and we’ll give him as much time to recover as we can.

“Cody McDonald is doubtful again. He jarred his knee scoring the goal at Oldham and that is disappointing because he had done well and I want to include him, but it gave us the option of including Callum Ball who did well on Tuesday by helping slow the game down because he could get hold of it at a time it kept coming back at us.”

Club captain Kevin Kilbane and midfielder Stephen Jennings are both fit again and will probably be in Robins match day squad.

Striker Gary McSheffrey missed training yesterday as he had a minor foot injury but it is not expected to keep him out of the squad.
