Jermaine Grandison who is loan from Coventry City, got another ninety minutes of Football League experience under his belt when he played for Shrewsbury Town in their 0-0 draw against Chesterfield this afternoon.

Shaun Jeffers, who scored for Cheltenam Town Reserves against City on Tuesday afternoon, was an 85th minute substitute in Cheltenham's 1-0 win at Port Vale.

Callum Wilson did not feature in Kettering's 3-0 win over Eastbourne. Former Sky Blue Paul Furlong scored twice whilst Iyseden Christie played for 76 minutes.

Andy Whing of Leyton Orient kept Sheffield Wednesday's debutant Gary Madine so quiet that he had to be replaced at half-time of Leyton Orient's 4-0 victory.
