Gary McSheffrey has said that the Coventry City players have benefitted from their week's pre-season training in Portugal.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, McSheffrey said: Come the end of the week I'm sure it will have been a good bonding session for the lads. There's been a bit of fitness work, and straight back into the football as well so when we get back and we're training at Ryton again hopefully we'll have achieved what we wanted
"It's tough, especially in this heat as well. We did a couple of four- minute runs which were very hard in this heat but its effective and we're benefitting from it
"I was disappointed I missed the last five or six games because I was just coming into a good bit of form, and we were playing well so we're hoping to start how we finished."
