Celtic appear to have cooled their interest in Coventry City's Irish international goal keeper Keiren Westwood and have now turned their attention to Julian Speroni of Crystal Palace.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon may have been deterred by the £4m price tag supposedly slapped on Westwood by Coventry City, but the Scottish giants need to replace the departed Artur Boruc before the start of the new season.
The fee for Speroni is thought to be around the £1m mark, considerable less than the £4m mentioned for the City 'keeper.
