If reports coming out of the North East are to be believed, Keiren Westwood will officially be a Sunderland player on July 1st.
Westwood (pictured below), will join Sunderland on the first of July on a Bosman free transfer when his Coventry City contract expires at midnight on June 30th
The Peterlee Mail are reporting that Westwood's move to Sunderland is "already tied up and only the timing of his official unveiling to be decided".
There are rumours that Westwood's representatives have agreed wages of £25k a week for the Republic Of Ireland international with a £5k appearance fee.
Westwood is currently away on holiday and the deal is expected to be announced on his return.
