Former Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood was a second half substitute for the Republic of Ireland in their final friendly away to Hungary before the European Championships start later this week.

Westwood came on at half time for Shay Given with the score at 0-0 and was soon in action denying Szala by palming his shot away.

Another City old boy in Robbie Keane also played before he was replaced by Simon Cox in an Ireland side which grew stronger as the match went on but could not find the net.
