Coventry City will face a trip to West Bromwich Albion next season after The Baggies were relegated from the Premier League.

Albion needed a victory this afternoon at home to Liverpool but goals from Gerrard and Kuyt condemned them to relegation.

City won 4-2 on their last league visit to The Hawthorns on December 4th 2007 but lost 4-0 at home a month earlier and were also beaten 5-0 at The Ricoh Arena in the FA Cup Fifth Round on February 16th 2008.

The other two relegation places will be sorted out next Sunday with Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Hull all battling to avoid the drop.

Torquay United, whom City beat in the fourth round of the FA Cup are a Football League club once more after beating Cambridge United 2-0 in the Conference Play-Off Final at Wembley.  Chris Hargreaves and Tim Sills scored.
