We're Hurting From Tranmere Defeat - Edj

William Edjenguele has said that the Coventry City players are hurting from the 2-0 defeat at Tranmere Rovers yesterday and blamed 'sloppy defending'.

Speaking to City Club Journalist Keiran Crowley, Edjenguele said: "I don't know how to explain how the game turned so quickly. We seemed to turn off at the back at the wrong moment and we were punished for it.

"They were two very sloppy goals to concede and we know we must do better in the future.

"The fans expect that and so do we. I believe we will get it right and when we do, it is important we get a good run going.

"We are hurting from that result but we have to get over it and refocus for Tuesday's game."
