We`ll Give It A Go - Adams

"We're here to work and if we win the tournament then that's an added bonus," said City manager Micky Adams to a press conference ahead of City's Copa Ibiza game with Huddersfield Town.

"Results aren't everything and what I really want to see is the right attitude from my players. "It's very hot over here and it'll be difficult to play in these conditions but we'll give it a go for the fans who have travelled over here."

Whilst Adams has the players holed up in a hotel close to the sea front in San Antonio, he, unlike the managers of Queens Park Rangers and Huddersfield have elected not to have the players train on the third generation pitch at the Municipal Stadium in San Antonio, prefering somewhere more secluded.

There are tickets available for the game despite supporters being forced to go on the official Playhard Sports tour in order to get a ticket. These can be bought at 20 euros each from a number of bars around the West End. Programmes for the game are priced at three euros each although City supporters on the official trip were told they were free.

The standard of some of the accommodation and the tour organisation has been criticised by some of those on the tour. Covsupport has received close to 20 complaints about the tour and will be reporting these on the City supporters behalf.
