Weekend Preview

With supporters of both teams unhappy that Leicestershire police first moved the local derby at the Wa*kers Stadium to a Sunday and then Sky opted to move it to a Monday night in order to show the game live, City are without a game this weekend.

The spotlight falls on City's U18 side who have their own local derby when they travel to Aston Villa. Having won their last consecutive six consecutive matches including a 4-1 hammering of Leicester City last time out, manager Steve Ogrizovic is expected to field most of the Aacademy players who played so well for City Reserves in their midweek victory at Fulham.

The game kicks off at Bodymoor Heath at 11am.

On Sunday, Coventry City Ladies travel to bottom of the WPL League Northern Division table side Manchester City. The game at Abbey Hey is supposed to kick off at 2pm but may be moved forward to 1pm due to the nearby derby between Manchester City and Manchester United.

City Ladies Reserves fresh from their 4-2 win over Blackburn Rovers last Sunday travel to Lincoln City.
