With no league fixture this weekend, matters turn internationally. City have Scott Shearer in Scotland's squad for their friendly in Valencia against Spain tonight (live on Channel 5 at 8.50pm). This is a warm up game for the World Cup Qualifyer against Slovenia at Hampden Park on Wednesday.

Graham Barrett who was a late call up, is in the Irish squad to face Cyprus at Lansdowne Road in Dublin (Live on Sky 2pm).

Claus Jorgensen is expected to make his international debut for the Faroe Islands in their Qualifier against Switzerland in Basel tomorrow. Jorgensen who is stuck in the reserves at Highfield Road opted to change his international allegiance from Danish to the Faroes on account of his mother.

Academy keeper Jonny Tuffey played for Northern Ireland U19's against Denmark at The Oval in Belfast last night but is expected to be back to play for the Academy against Fulham. (Ryton 11am)

Coventry City Ladies have not received FA Clearance to play Kirsty Stevenson,a midweek capture from Aston Villa in their game at Sheffield Wednesday but still go in search of a victory against the team second in the WPL Northern Division table.
