Webster The Ref For City's Trip To Watford

The referee currently appointed to take charge of Coventry City's next game, the trip to Watford is Colin Webster from Tyne & Wear.

Mr Webster is married with two children and has interests in property development and learning to fly. He is a Chartered Surveyor who took up refereeing in the North East in 1988. He was promoted to the Referees' List in 2000 and He was in charge of the League One Play-Off Final which saw Millwall beat Swindon 1-0.

So far this season, he has thirty matches and shown seventy yellow cards and six red.

The last time he was in charge of a Coventry game, it was the FA Cup 3rd defeat to Southampton in January and this season, he has also been in charge of the draw at Doncaster Rovers back in October. 

Previous City matches are the 0-0 draw when Sheffield United visited The Ricoh in January 2011, the 1-0 defeat at West Brom back in March 2010, the 2-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday in October 2009, the 2-0 home win over Norwich in August 2008, the 5-1 win at Colchester in April 2008, the 1-0 home defeat to Sheffield United in December 2007, the 3-0 defeat at Leicester in February 2007, the 3-1 defeat at Leeds in December 2005, the 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United in August 2005, the 1-0 home win over Watford in December 2004 and the 1-0 home win over West Ham in August 2004.

His assistants will be Oleksandr Sally from Middlesex and Ashley Slaughter from Sussex. The fourth official will be Ryan T. Atkin from London.
