We Will Pick Up Enough Points - Thorn

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn feels that City will pick up enough points to stay up.

Speaking to the Press Association, following the 1-1 draw with Birmingham City, Thorn said: "I think if we had held on for longer than the two minutes we would have won the game.

"I thought we defended so well throughout the whole game and I think that was the only time we switched off.

"The way McSheffrey took his goal reminded me of how Teddy Sheringham used to head the ball.

"We just want to keep picking points up. Our home form has been decent and it is one in eight now at home that we have lost.

"We're going to give it a really good go. We have got four more games here and we're going to give it everything we've got and stick together as a team.

"I think we will pick up enough points. At one stage we were nine points away and to be right in it is a credit to the boys and the way they have pulled themselves back."
