Tim Flowers did the talking after City's 4-2 victory at West Bromwich Albion.

The City Assistant Manager said to the media: "In the dressing-room, Iain thanked the players for their single-mindedness during the last week.

"This was a magnificent response. These players have given their heart to the club since Iain came here.

"We can only affect what happens on the pitch and this is what happened tonight.

We had a few bodies back and a lot of pace and power in Best, Mifsud and Leon McKenzie. "We have been going through a little sticky spell and at the end there were a lot of tired bodies out there but full credit to them all.

"The powers that be will sort it out but there are a lot of people who love the club working behind the scenes. "We will be all right."
