Coventry City manager Chris Coleman said that his side were worthy of their 1-0 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon.

The City boss was again full of praise for the City fans who journeyed to the Croydon area as well as David Bell, whose stunning goal gave City the victory.

Speaking to the club website, Chris Coleman said: "I thought from the first minute to the last minute we had chances and played well. Our supporters were fantastic again, a great following, and I thought we were worthy of the win.

"We knew it was going to be hard. We probably played some better football last season but we lost more games. This season we are much harder to beat.

"Palace are a good team. If they hadn't had ten points taken away they are on the verge of the play-offs so this is a very good result.
"It was a very good goal from Belly. The keeper probably answered the question for him rather than asking one of him, but he still took it very, very well."
