Coventry City manager Andy Thorn admitted that City's second half performance in the 2-2 draw against Bury was not acceptable and when the players neded to be solid, they were weak and were rubblish.

Speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Geoff Foster after the draw which saw the Sky Blues booed off, Thorn said: "As good as we were in the first half, we were as bad in the second. Defensively lacking and we were poor.

"We told the players what to do and they did not do it. it was two poor bits of defending.

"We have told the players it was not good enough. This is not acceptable.

"We went from totally dominating a match to not which is why we are in League One.

"We have to be solid but the players were weak and we were rubbish. I expected to see more than what I saw and this was unacceptable.

"I don't want to accept standards like that."
