We Were A Shambles - Harris

Millwall Manager Neil Harris has said that his side were a shambles during the 4-0 defeat to Coventry City at The New Den.

"I thought we were a shambles to be honest," Harris told Lions PlayerHD.

"Leading up to the penalty, even leading up to the first goal, we were really good, looked composed and looked dangerous. Then we concede a goal and we didn't react.

"I don't think we reacted for the first-half. That's a huge disappointment and it really hurts.

"We knew they had dangerous and exciting players but we had to impose ourselves on them. We didn't and some of the players didn't look like they knew how to do it.

"It's clear to see that some of the players struggle to play here at the moment and until we get results on the board that will certainly impact on my team selection.

"We've got to take stock of this and look back at the game. Then we have to look at Barnsley to see how they are going to play against us and what we can expect and then pick a team from that.

"The idea of coming in and having a smaller squad is to give the young players a chance. There was some on the bench that could feature on Tuesday."
