MK Dons manager Karl Robinson felt that his side should have won convincingly against Coventry City.

Speaking after the 0-0 draw at stadiummk, Robinson told the Press Association: "I thought we were excellent, I really did. "I loved the energy against a good footballing side.

"We should have won that convincingly. We probed, we bounced the ball around and we created width - we were just very dominant.

"We're all sat here scratching our heads, and that's not being disrespectful to Coventry, I just thought we were very, very good. They've come here and got a point so well done to them.

"I'm pleased, not frustrated, and I said to the Chairman after the game that we've got a really good team.

"We use this as a springboard now, along with two clean sheets on the spin, and use this heading into the Crawley game next Saturday."
