Coventry City loanee defender Chris Stokes has said that the City players need to work on their mistakes.

Speaking to Tom Bloomfield at this lunch-time's press conference, Stokes who is on loan from Forest Green Rovers said: "If we had of taken our chances from Bradford we would have won the game. We need to work on the mistakes that we have made at the back too."

Speaking about the free kick during the Bradford City game on Tuesday night which saw City denied a win, Stokes said: "I was like the 8th man in the wall, I tried to stay in front of the Bradford players but it's taken a nick and gone in off the post.

I don't think the wall was the problem, on another day the ball hits the post and comes out.

"It's not gone for us at the moment, some of the boys had shooting practise today

"We're not getting battered and the confidence is still high, the boys think that we're nearly there.

"It's hard not to look at other games between the other teams in it, I'm sure the other teams are doing it too"
