We Need To Be More Ruthless - Pressley

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that his side needs to be more ruthless in front of goal.

On a day when City's strikers failed to create any chances worthy of note and Jim O'Brien wasted two good chances, the City boss said to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire after the 2-0 defeat at Doncaster Rovers: "When you have as much ball as we had, especially in the first half, we need to create much better opportunities than we did.

"We had a plan of how we wanted to play, but losing a goal after two minutes allows them to implement their game plan. It gave them confidence, something they've been lacking at home.

"We need to be more ruthless in front of goal and can't give up the goals we did today. We have to do better than we did today. This is a game I felt confident we could come here and win. I'm disappointed for our travelling supporters who came here in their numbers.

"The one good thing about this time of year is it's 48 hours and we've got the chance to put things right again."
