Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that City must find players who can become heroes.

Speaking to City's programme staff ahead of the Crewe game, Mowbray said: "We've got to recruit in the right areas but you know, with where we are, there aren't going to be too many Kevin Phillips' around like there was the last time I was in the West Midlands.

"The likes of James Morrison, Chris Brunt and Jonas Olsson are not easy to source but we've got to get a recruitment system in place which can cover as much ground as possible.

"We've got to try and find players who can become our heroes. If Callum Wilson was the last hero, then we've got to go out and find one."
