We Have To Turn Things Round - Robins

Newly appointed Coventry City manager Mark Robins feels that promotion back to the top flight is still possible.

Robins appointment comes after City slumped to a low described by a good number of the 610 strong support at City's 4-1 defeat as Shrewsbury as "the lowest they have ever felt supporting the club"

But speaking to club journalist Keiran Crowley, Robins said: "Promotion will be everybody's aim. When I was growing up Coventry were a permanent fixture in the top league so that is the ultimate aim but we have to do it incrementally.

"You look at clubs like Norwich and Southampton that were in similar types of positions then all of a sudden things turned around, they got more out of their players and they ended up with two promotions and these things can happen. That's what we have to do, turn things around and make sure they go the other way."
