Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that the City players have got take their chances.

City went into the game at QPR on Sunday, averaging one goal every 11.19 attempts and had chances to have got something out of the trip to Loftus Road.

Aidy Boothroyd who is being reported by Sky Blue Player as being confident that City have made real progress in 2011, said: "I'm a big believer that if you keep going and are persistent then you'll come out on top in the end.

"I thought we played very well for long periods, and created a lot of chances against a top of the table team and could consider ourselves unfortunate.

"We were solid and strong, but we've got to make sure we concentrate at key times in the game. The two goals came at critical times.

"We've also got to take the chances we create and the pass for their second goal was as good a pass as you'll see all season."
