We Have Decent Midfield Options - Robins

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has been speaking about his midfield options ahead of tonight's trip to Colchester United (7.45pm)

The City boss has Adam Barton who came on and scored against Hartlepool United after scoring for the U21's available amongst other options and he told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: "We have got decent options in midfield and it’s just a confidence issue.

"As we go along I am seeing different things in different players and I’m looking to see if they are ready to put up a fight and challenge for the shirt.

"They all complement each other and there is Franck Moussa, who is different again and can get forward and score a goal.

"Adam Barton makes a big difference and I have got to try to keep him involved and in and around the team because he puts his foot on the ball and calms things down, and he’s one of the only ones who would have scored with the chance he had on Saturday.

"Carl Baker (pictured below) is starting to relax on the ball and play. He scored one last week and two this, and that’s what confidence does for you.

"You’ve got to enjoy wins like Saturday and the key for us is that we have to take the confidence into tonight’s game at Colchester."
