We Had A Lot More Shots - Boothroyd

Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd remains pleased despite City'se second consecutive pre-season goal-less draw against Conference North opposition.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, after City's 0-0 draw at Hinckley United, Aidy Boothroyd said: "Pre-season is obviously about physical conditioning but it's also about the mental preparation as well.

"Hinckley gave us a good game and in them we were facing a side that for the first half an hour went all out because they are trying to please their manager and it's like their cup final.

"I thought we might have scored because we had enough chances to win a couple of games but that will come with time.

"We had a lot more shots, chances and possession, it was a bit dispointing not to get a goal for our fans but like I say that will come with time."
