We Grounded Out A Good Result - Ferguson

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson felt that his side grounded out a result against Coventry City.

Ferguson told the Press Association: "We were outstanding for half-an-hour and it was a pity we couldn't get another goal to make things more comfortable.

"Danny (Swanson) has been outstanding lately so to lose him was a big blow.

"We allowed ourselves to become too deep at times when Coventry were on top and we didn't look after the ball well enough.

"It is all about winning games at this stage of the season though. We haven't ground out enough results for my liking, but we managed it today against a good side.

"We're not there yet in terms of the play-offs, but we have certainly put ourselves in a good position. We have to continue to build momentum and breed confidence."
