Two goal hero Freddy Eastwood said that the City players gave the manager Aidy Boothroyd what he wanted in the 2-0 victory over Portsmouth this afternoon.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Eastwood said: "I think when you score that early everything seems to come together.

"It was a great ball by David Bell for my second goal and it was nice to come to the Ricoh and play a good side and get three points.

"That's what the manager wanted and that's what we managed to give him. We expected to come in and put in a really good performance so I think it was all credit to every one of the lads out on the pitch."
