We Didn't Press Home Our Advantage - Thorn

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn felt that City did not press home their advantage in the 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: " I think we did really well for an hour and then conceded two very soft goals. I was really disappointed by the first one and the second one happened as we tried to press on.

"I thought we were comfortable and looked like we could have got all three points but in the end we have given away two soft goals.

"We didn't keep solid and we let it slip away as I feel we should be coming away from here with something.

"We need to learn from this and stop conceding those sort of goals. We lost our shape a little bit which we had spoke about at the break so again, that was disappointing.

"We gave tremendous effort and commitment once again but when you are in the situation we are in at the bottom you have to press home our advantage and we didn't do that today."
